SET OF 2, DEEP UMAMI MATCHA + SHAKER
SHAKER SET - STILLPOINT
Stillpoint and the shaker. The deepest umami in the range, cold and on the move.
Details
Stillpoint carries the longest umami in the range and is the one to drink without milk. Shaken cold it keeps that finish, where a thinner matcha would wash out over ice. The shaker does the whisking for you. A raised fin in the base breaks the powder apart at shaking speed, so 20 seconds gets you there without a bowl, without a whisk, and without any of the tea ceremony to learn first.
Who makes it
The tea house
A family house in Shizuoka that has made nothing but tea since the 1800s, from the years when Japan was first opening to the outside world. The fourth generation runs it now. The house has taken first place at the Tokyo and Shizuoka tea competitions, including an award from Japan's Minister of Agriculture, and its head blender has won the national tea appraisal championship.
How it is blended
Blending is the whole craft. Soil, shade, harvest date and how far the drying is taken all move the flavour, and no two lots repeat, so a chashi works through the year's harvests by taste and builds each blend against a target. Nothing about it is automated.

What's inside
One 30g can of Stillpoint, about 15 bowls, and one shaker. Buying them together saves you €5.
How to enjoy
Stillpoint is at its best straight, hot in a bowl or cold from the shaker. Both methods are below under How to drink.
Traceability
Ceremonial Grade, House Blend from Kagoshima, Shizuoka and Miyazaki, Japan. Milled and canned in September 2026. We buy in small lots and fill 30g cans, so the tin you open has been open to air for as short a time as we can manage.
Storage
Keep the lid on tight and the can somewhere cool and dark, away from anything with a strong smell. The powder comes in a sealed bag inside the can. Leave it in the bag, or tip it into the can and put the lid back on. Either way works. Once it is open, drink it within a few weeks. Matcha gives up its aroma to air faster than most teas.
Other sets
The other ways to take more than one can.
Set of 2, your choice of teas
The Duo
Two cans, whichever two you want. 30 bowls between them.
Set of 3, one of every tea
The Trio
All three teas, 45 bowls, one for the morning and one for after dark.
How to drink
Before the inbox. Before the noise.
01Dose
2g
Two level scoops, about 2g.
Making a latte? Take 5g. Some like it stronger. You’ll know by the second cup.
02Water
80°C / 60ml
Boil the kettle, then let it stand a minute.
Tannins are what make matcha bite, and the hotter the water the faster they come out. At 80 degrees they hold back.
03Whisk
15sec
Back and forth in an M shape.
Your arm doesn’t move. Only the wrist. The speed of the tips decides how fine the foam gets.
04Sip
Now
Drink it while the foam is still standing.
Lift the whisk straight up out of the centre. It won’t wait for you.
Straight
Two level scoops of powder, about 2g, into 60ml of water at 80°C. Whisk for 15 seconds, until the foam closes over the surface. The recipe is the same for every can in the range.
HotDrink it from the bowl while the foam is still standing.
IcedWhisk it the same way, then pour it over a full glass of ice.
Latte
Take 5g of powder and whisk it with 150ml of water at 80°C first. Pour 150ml of milk or alt milk into the glass, then pour the matcha over it from the bowl, so it keeps its texture.
HotWarm the milk before it goes in and it will hold the foam.
IcedCold milk straight from the fridge, poured over ice.
New to matcha? A little agave syrup softens the edges.

FAQ
What’s in the set?
One Stillpoint can (30g, about 15 bowls) and the matcha shaker. Buying them together saves you €5.
Can I swap the tea in the set?
Each set is fixed, but the other two sets are one click away, and The Trio brings all three cans together.
Can I use hot water in the shaker?
Yes, as long as it stays under 80°C. Water or hot water below 80°C both work; cold with ice makes the everyday cup.
How should I store it?
Lid on tight, somewhere cool and dark, away from anything fragrant. Once opened, drink it within a few weeks. Matcha gives up its aroma to air faster than most teas.
